Suspension lamp Bamboo oval with two-tone bamboo shade
In the Bamboo series of lamps, designer Arik Levy skillfully combines natural materials with modern designs in a trendy and simple Zen style. The oval-shaped outer shade consists of individual struts of bamboo, which provide an effective play of light and shadow in the environment and was painted in the upper area. Inside sits a smaller shade made of woven bamboo, which glare-free the light of the illuminants and let it radiate harmoniously.
Arik Levy is a designer, technician, artist, photographer and producer, making him a multi-talented all-rounder whose work is exhibited in some of the world's most prestigious galleries and museums. The designer works from his studio Ldesign in Paris and created the Bamboo series of lamps for Forestier, a lighting manufacturer also based in Paris.
