Exceptionally shaped Taraxacum designer pendant light from FLOS Taraxacum is a design classic that was created back in 1960 and has lost none of its appeal to this day. This proves the timeless character of this pendant light, which creates a graceful, absolutely cosy light that seems to be characterised by pure comfort. At first glance, you might think it's an ordinary fabric cover wrapped around the steel frame of the lampshade, but it's a special material known as cocoon. You quickly catch yourself thinking of a cocoon, such as the one spun by a silk spinner. And indeed, you are quite right with this mental leap, because it is not a woven or knitted fabric that gives Taraxacum its unique expression, but in fact a fine web of threads, in which thread after thread has been joined around the frame until a fine but dense fabric has been created, which is finally fixed with a spray to ensure a stable shape and sufficient stability.
