The Italian designer brothers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni came up with the unusual design of the Snoopy table lamp in green back in 1967. They were inspired by the popular dog in the Peanuts series and gave it its name: Snoopy is fitted with an E27 socket into which bulbs of all kinds - including LED bulbs with a matching base - can be inserted. The light is emitted directly downwards, illuminating the desk, for example. A dimmer switch has been integrated into the white marble base to regulate the brightness of the light. Snoopy can also be switched on and off using this switch. This unusual design was realised by the Italian company FLOS, which is known for its high-quality design objects.
