Designer LED path light In Vitro Bollard with diffuse light The particularly robust and high-quality LED path light In Vitro from the Italian designer light manufacturer FLOS is made of die-cast and extruded aluminium. The LEDs are located in the upper part of the light and are enclosed by an opal diffuser and an outer, larger protective glass made of clear borosilicate glass. In Vitro provides diffused light for illuminating paths and driveways. In Vitro was designed in 2020 by the French designer and architect Philippe Starck, who works according to the principle of reduction, i.e. omitting unnecessary decor and reducing the product to the bare essentials. Starck has already worked in all possible areas of design and architecture. He designed a motor yacht as well as a lemon squeezer. He designed a brewery building in Japan and a motorbike. He regularly designs lights for indoor and outdoor use for the Italian company FLOS, which has been in existence since 1960. The company's products and its designers have been honoured several times with the most important Italian industrial design award, the Compasso d'Oro. in 2013, the manufacturer received the Red Dot Design Award.
