The 27 cm high LED table lamp Bon Jour unplugged is suitable for a wide variety of applications, because what makes it special is that it is powered by an integrated rechargeable battery that can be recharged via micro USB port. Thus, the lamp can be operated for about 6 hours without any mains power when the battery is fully charged and can be used at any time wherever it is needed.

However, when designing the Bon Jour unplugged table lamp, it was not only important to the designer Philippe Starck that the lamp is mobile, but also that it carries a design that is not commonplace. He has certainly succeeded in this luminaire, because true to his motto "ethics of the essential", he has dispensed with unnecessary gimmicks in the design and thus chosen a very straightforward and purist design, which sets special accents in the living room. On the matt chrome luminaire base is enthroned a clear PMMA shade, which allows the warm white LED light to radiate unhindered into the environment. However, it is mainly emitted in the direction of the table surface, so that there is no unpleasant light glare and indirect lighting is created.

Depending on the situation, the brightness of the warm white LEDs can be switched in three stages (100%, 70%, 30%, off).
