Drywall profile APTBU made of aluminium for light cove, wall-mounted
The APTBU aluminium profile enables indirect lighting via the wall. It is suitable for plasterboard with a thickness of 12.5 mm and LED strips up to 12 mm wide and max. 30 W per metre. The LED strip is no longer visible from the room once installation is complete. The lower edge of the profile is extensively filled with the plasterboard and fabric insert. The free space between the plasterboard and the ceiling should be max. 8 cm. The edge of the profile can be painted with the colour of the surrounding wall/ceiling/cladding. The effective free beam angle of the light is 120°; the greater the distance to the wall (recommendation: 6 to 15 cm), the higher the illuminated wall section.
