Inspired by a sea urchin - Garota P/02 terrace luminaire

Garota P/02 is an exclusive lighting object that promises atmospheric light and an equally Mediterranean flair in the outdoor area. This is triggered by the special design of the lampshade, which is fixed on a delicate three-legged frame. This in combination with the 380 cm long supply cable guarantees a variable positioning on the terrace or balcony. The shade, which is also the main focus of the design, has been painstakingly hand-woven from brown, weather-resistant synthetic fibres, making it a truly unique piece. The light is generated inside the shade by two E27 bulbs (see accessories) and enclosed by a satin polyethylene ellipse that guarantees a homogeneous light diffusion.

The two designers Gonzalo Milá & Alex Fernández Camps were inspired by a sea urchin when designing the lamp, which is reflected in the shape and also the shadow formation of the lamp.

Manufactured in the renowned lighting manufacturer Bover, which manufactures lamps in Barcelona since 1996 and since then have remained true to their guiding principle of a timeless design coupled with the highest quality.
