Wall lamp Stormy undoubtedly owes its name to its shape, reminiscent of the waves in stormy seas. The metal frame of the lamp is screwed to the wall. On the square canopy sits the framework for the textile shade, which consists of wavy shaped and offset against each other metal struts. The elastic, white textile shade of the imposing wall lamp is braced above it and can be removed for cleaning and even washed, which makes cleaning the white lamp very easy.
Manuel Vivian, a designer born in Venice, designed the wall lamp Stormy. After receiving his diploma from the Venetian Institute of Art, he designed mostly glassblowing - not least because of his family business. Later, he expanded his range and field of interest to other interior design areas. Since the founding of Axolight in 1996, Manuel Vivian has been working with the lighting manufacturer and has designed numerous collections for the company to date.
