Its lampshade is made of folded and laser-cut aluminium, which holds two central parts together: the light source, which houses dimmable and warm white LEDs, and a large, matt and adjustable diffuser. These sit exactly opposite each other, which ensures that the light is slightly filtered and partially reflected by the diffuser. This creates a very pleasant atmosphere and a beautiful, emotional light, which is perfect for stylish and elegant lighting in living spaces. The designer responsible for this design is Timo Ripatti, who developed the special Cut series together with Axolight in a design process. Ripatti is a Finnish designer whose work combines aesthetic and poetic qualities with functionality.
