Artemide Tolomeo Mini table lamp with base 2,700 K

Classic Tolomeo Mini LED desk lamp This table lamp, which is still popular today, was designed back in 1987. The designers Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina created a timeless design classic back then. This table lamp has now been given a contemporary upgrade with modern LEDs. The small lampshade of the Tolomeo table lamp can be conveniently adjusted to suit individual requirements thanks to its movable joints. The adjustable arms give the light maximum flexibility and make it suitable for any use in a modern home office or as a reading lamp on a side table. The brightness can be conveniently adjusted and continuously dimmed at any time using an integrated switch directly on the head of the luminaire. 30 years ago, designer and architect Michele De Lucchi developed the Tolomeo luminaire series together with Giancarlo Fassina. A mechanism he had seen among fishermen in Apulia served De Lucchi as inspiration for the later form and functionality of the light. However, when the first prototypes did not work in practice, it was Giancarlo Fassina who ultimately made the light suitable for everyday use.
