Even at glance, it’s impossible to overlook its exquisite design. The frame of the Tolomeo Mega floor lamp looks so slim that it’s hardly noticeable, ensuring all attention is directed towards the cone shaped lampshade. Here, the highlight is the sophisticated technology, which is located in the frame of the lamp. Flexible joints ensure that the floor lamp can be adjusted in height or length as desired. In fact the length can be adjusted to a total of 1.86 m and the height to a remarkable 3.27 m. An innovative cable pull system provides full stability and ensures that it stays in the selected position. The lampshade is also flexible and rotatable. It can be rotated to any angle using the attached metal handle. Another plus is the dimmability of the floor lamp, which is easy to operate with a sliding dimmer with a separate off button.

The well thought-out design and mechanical systems were created by the architectural and design duo Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina, whose Tolomeo light series is still successful and popular today as it ever was. The Tolomeo Mega floor lamp is no exception and even received the Red Dot Award in 2013.
