Soft light and effective illumination

The elegant and dome-shaped lampshade is made of high quality aluminium and seems to float in the air. This is made possible by a very delicate - compared to the massive lampshade - and thin suspension system. Hovering over a dining table, it also provides very effective lighting as it radiates most of its light downwards. A small part, however, escapes upwards, where it shines indirectly through a glass cover providing the room with a cosy accent light. For this purpose, the hanging lamp Nur Mini can also be dimmed and adjusted in terms of brightness, if appropriate bulbs are used.

The classic timeless design was created by Ernesto Gismondi, the founder of the Artemide Group who has planned and designed many lights at Artemide for decades. This includes the Nur series. He came to design after making a slight detour as he began his professional career in 1950 with a degree in aerospace engineering. Today he is one of the most important and innovative lighting designers of our time.
