This wonderful table lamp takes its name from the resemblance of the glass shade to a meteorite, those small cosmic bodies that fall to earth from space. In addition to its shape, the special thing about Meteorite is the glass texture, which is created by a special manufacturing process in which the glass is dipped in acid in the Venetian tradition and then treated with sand. this ensures a special refraction of the light emitted. The table lamp is a very aesthetic light source that can be placed anywhere in the home depending on taste and furnishings. Meteorite is produced and distributed by Artemide in Italy and is equipped with a dimmable switch on the cable. Founded in 1960 by Ernesto Gismondi, the company has produced many designer lights over the decades that are now considered contemporary design icons.
