Like an ice crystal: LED ceiling light LED Net Circle from Artemide - controllable via app

18 individual LED light points can be found on the ceiling light LED Net Circle. The way these light points are connected to each other is reminiscent of an ice crystal. Made of shiny white painted aluminum is the linkage that connects the individual LED light points, which are located behind plastic diffusers. In this version, switching, dimming and grouping with other lights is done via Artemide app (available free for iOS and Android). The connection between smartphone/tablet and luminaire is established via Bluetooth. Between several smart Artemide luminaires, the commands are passed among themselves (BLL mesh network).
The LED Net Circle ceiling light is a joint project of the two Italian designers Alberto Nason and Michele De Lucchi. The latter graduated as an architect from the Milan Polytechnic and today oversees architectural projects in northeastern Italy with his studio. He is also a lecturer in industrial design. Nason has already worked in London and Frankfurt before coming back to Italy and starting to collaborate with De Lucchi.
The well-known Italian lighting manufacturer Artemide stands for design "Made in Italy". For years, the company's high-quality luminaires have won prizes and awards for their innovative designs and functionality.
