Design table lamp Itka with mouth blown glass shade

The Itka table lamp, which the Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa created for Artemide, emits its light over the entire surface of the shade made of white, mouth-blown glass. This is designed in the shape of a lens and is supported by a visible steel base. The table lamp can be used very versatile for accent and mood lighting, on the sideboard in the living room, on the nightstand as in the café.

Naoto Fukasawa studied product design at Tama Art University and was subsequently responsible for advanced developments at Seiko Epson. From 1989 to 1996 he lived and worked in the USA. After returning to his native Japan, he founded and managed the IDEO office in Tokyo. In 2003 he founded his own studio "Naoto Fukasawa Design". He designs products for well-known companies worldwide, including the Italian lighting manufacturer Artemide. Founded in 1960 by Ernesto Gismondi, the company is appreciated worldwide for the excellent quality of its products.
