This decorative pendant lamp is part of a series of pendant, ceiling, table and floor lamps with handmade glass shade. In the Gople series, the focus is on the glass shade, which radiates the light in all directions and becomes a special eye-catcher in the room due to its aesthetic colour gradient. This look is created by the use of a traditional Venetian handicraft technique, in which both coloured glass and crystal glass are used.

The clear form underlines the modernity of this light dispenser, which can be harmonized with many contemporary interior styles. The creative design comes from BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group), a collaboration of designers and architects who have studios in Copenhagen and New York. In their work, they make use of technical innovations and attach importance to a cost- and resource-saving implementation of their ideas. Their projects include the Danish Maritime Museum (2013), 8 House (2010) and the Copenhagen Harbour Baths.
