Fato Bicolor - square wall lamp in bicolor design, also usable as table lamp (sample goods)

Fato Bicolor is a luminaire creation by Artemide, designed by Michele De Lucchi, Giancarlo Fassina and Gio Ponti. The lamp can be mounted on the wall, but it can also be used as a table lamp because it is equipped with a cable with plug.

In a white metal frame, geometric elements sit in a strong, contrasting colour that partially shades the light. The arrangement of the elements creates very special lighting effects with an interesting and exciting interplay of light and shadow, so that the luminaire is not only a source of light but also a light sculpture and an interesting decorative object. Stylistically, the luminaire evokes associations with the 1960s.

The frame of the lamp, made in Italy by Artemide, is made of enamelled, folded and welded sheet metal in brilliant white, and the geometric elements in the frame, painted in striking colours, are also made of sheet metal. Founded in 1960 by Ernesto Gismondi, the Artemide company, based in Pregnana Milanese in Italy, stands out for its first-class luminaire creations, which are characterised by the combination of the latest technology, ancient wisdom and sustainable production.
