Discovery Vertical LED pendant light, controllable via app

The Discovery Vertical LED pendant light combines the highest levels of efficiency and state-of-the-art technology by making the completely transparent PMMA diffuser visible only when the light source is turned on. The diffuser is surrounded by a narrow aluminium ring, whose narrow shape is inspired by bicycle rims. Thanks to its understated design, Discovery Vertical does not stand out visually. When it is turned on, it lights up the room with an evenly distributed light, which is conducted into the diffuser from the LED strip in the ring.

The light can be controlled by an app (iOS and Android). This app can be used to switch the lamp on and off, to dim the light and to create different light scenarios.

Artemide founder Ernesto Gismondi designed the Discovery series of lights and has continuously refined it. Artemide is an Italian lighting manufacturer, which he founded in 1960 and which is known for having its own research facilities. Its vision is to create unique lights that enhance human well-being by exploring materials, technology and socio-cultural aspects.
