Battery-operated LED table lamp Curiosity with glass sphere The LED table lamp Curiosity by Artemide is a decorative furnishing accessory that enriches the surroundings with very atmospheric additional lighting and also effectively illuminates small objects placed on the base. As the name Curiosity suggests, its creator David Oppizzi was inspired by a cabinet of curiosities in which special objects were displayed. Curiosity can be used in a variety of ways in both the private and public sectors. Thanks to its battery operation, it can also be used completely independently of the mains. Depending on which of the three dimming levels is selected, the table lamp with the spherical glass shade in the centre lights for eight, eleven or 26 hours. Davide Oppizzi has been running his own Studio in Geneva since 2001 and has already worked for well-known companies such as Luise Vuitton and Chanel. The renowned Italian lighting manufacturer Artemide realises the designs of well-known designers and now sells them in 98 countries. In doing so, it never loses sight of its philosophy of human light.
