Direct and indirect lighting: designer LED pendant lamp Ameluna

The LED pendant lamp Ameluna is a joint product of Artemide and Mercedes Benz. The Italian lighting manufacturer and the German carmaker have teamed up for an exclusive design made of high-quality materials with innovative technology. To create a balanced light pattern, a technique was developed that allows the LED strip located in the lower edge of the shade to emit both direct and indirect light into the room. The transparency of the shade also contributes to this. As a luminaire and also a furnishing object, Ameluna exudes a purity and clarity that can create and enhance a modern and very exclusive ambience.
A practical functionality represents the smart controllability of the lamp. Ameluna can be paired with a smartphone/tablet via Bluetooth and switched, dimmed and grouped with other smart Artemide luminaires via the Artemide app (available free for iOS and Android). The latter pass the commands among themselves (BLL mesh network).
