Matteo is like a white brick and only on closer inspection do you see that a decorative wall light which provides indirect light hides behind it. Underneath is a satined glass diffuser which gives a more even light distribution, while the front shade is made of opaque plaster. Filament or energy saving bulbs can be used with the plaster wall light.

Ideally, Matteo can be used in hallways of staircases, i.e. areas in the house which are frequently used as passageways where targeted light isn't particularly important. Thanks to the two bulbs, the light produces pleasant background light.

The main characteristic of plaster as a surface is the fact that it's possible to change the colour or paint it with individual designs/illustrations - for anyone who doesn't want to miss the chance to give their light an individual touch! To that end, the light comes with sandpaper and a glove, so that optimal surface treatment can be provided before applying the base coat.
