Handmade lights
Lighting design in the tradition of master craftsmanshipHandmade lights embody mindfulness and appreciation for traditional craftsmanship. Whether made of wood, paper, glass, metal, alpine hay or exquisite plastics: Each design bears the individuality of its creator. This makes each handmade lamp a shade different from the next and literally unique within our four walls!
Natural touch with handcrafted wooden lamps

The sturdy paper and plastic umbrellas from Danish manufacturer Le Klint are folded by hand. This requires a high level of craftsmanship and is therefore only carried out by a specially trained team of folders directly in Odense.

Anyone who sees the dedication with which a lamp is created by hand can no longer escape the fascination of handmade lamps. Good & Mojo, for example, creates unique lighting objects from sustainable materials such as bamboo, cork and linen.

One of the many unusual materials for handmade lights is alpine hay, such as that used by the manufacturer Almut von Wildheim. The material exudes the cultural character of Tyrol and creates a truly unique piece with a one-of-a-kind look and feel that cannot be found anywhere else.

From a wooden blank to a striking handmade luminaire: manufacturers such as HerzBlut are masters of this - and are completely sustainable. CO²-neutral production in Germany, recyclable materials and, last but not least, energy-efficient lighting technology ensure a good feeling when you switch on your new favourite light.

Cosiness with hand-woven bamboo lamps
As a rapidly renewable raw material, bamboo is extremely sustainable. What's more, the material is perfect for filigree craftsmanship. Woven, bent and knotted together, wicker lamps are created that bring a touch of island feeling or natural chic into our living spaces and ensure absolute cosiness. Equipped with diffusers for soft light distribution or with filament lamps, the versatile luminaires are complete.

Creative handmade lights made from hay, abacá & co.
When alpine hay is pressed with cornflowers and combined with wood to create an individual and warm-looking lampshade, the feel-good flair is perfect. Woven umbrellas made from banana hemp, also known as abacá, and raffia, the leaves of a palm plant, also ensure a cosy atmosphere. Not only unique pieces made from sustainable materials, but eye-catchers for the entire living area are created in this way and make our homes even more beautiful.

Handmade lights made from paper & cardboard
Paper lights bring a warm flair to interiors. The elaborately hand-folded and moulded shades perfectly complement living styles ranging from Japanese chic to natural flair. When switched on, they demonstrate the power of a play with light and shadow. They also express the individual and slightly different structure of the paper or cardboard used each time.

Works of light art made from mouth-blown glass
The traditional art of glassblowing is firmly anchored in luminaire design. Sometimes bulbous, sometimes angular in shape, with delicate transparency or in stimulating shades from satin to smoky grey to coloured, these lights immortalise traditional craftsmanship. Flooded with warm white light, the elegant unique pieces create a cosy ambience for relaxation.

Handcrafted metal lights
Metals such as steel, aluminium, brass etc. are popular working materials for lighting designers and in art in general. Handmade or hand-finished metal lights fascinate us both in the form of simple, elegant metal bodies and with striking surface finishes. They also bring individuality to the interior as an exciting composition of smaller metal elements. Pleasant warm white light is particularly flattering on the reflective surfaces.

High-quality extravagance with plastic and fibreglass lamps
Plastic is another material that can be artistically moulded and processed by hand. Three-dimensional and often extravagant luminaire bodies inspire with their outstanding lighting effect, which is achieved using exclusive plastic compositions, some of which are patented. These light objects are accessories that attract everyone's attention.

Handmade ceramic lamps
When ceramics are moulded, fired and the surface design is perfected by hand, unique lamps with flair are guaranteed. Partly Mediterranean, partly vintage, with deliberately chipped paintwork, these bright evergreens come along. As pendant lights that create warm-looking beams of light, they enrich our living spaces just as much as wall lamps with indirect light.
