Inspired by life: A striking feature of the desk lamp is the wire cable inspired by a fisherman's rod. This allows the arm to be moved steplessly. Together with the 360° rotatable lamp head, the Tolomeo has an excellent range of movement.

A time of great ideas: In the 1980s, the designer developed pioneering products for companies such as Philips, Siemens and, of course, Artemide. Today, the Italian, born in 1951, and his architecture firm realise ambitious projects for the Triennale Design Museum in Milan and the Neues Museum Berlin, for example.
