Whether you want to brighten your home throughout the year, add a dash of beauty and elegance to a wedding day or make your workspace a little nicer to work in, we’ve got fairy lights for every style and occasion.
Including Christmas - naturally!
The wonderful thing about fairy lights is you can use them to give a room a homely or elegant atmosphere all year round. Brighten a workspace or add elegance to a wedding day - which is why our range goes far beyond the traditional fairy lights for your Christmas tree.
There are fairy lights for every occasion and furnishing style from Industrial to Scandi, individual light points, cones, baubles and even light bulbs, in colourful or plain colours.
Attaching light chains isn’t complicated.
In most cases, all you need is an electrical outlet, e.g. as a decoration for a dining table or sideboard.
But if you want to attach your light string to a wall or ceiling, then you’ll need to bear a few things in mind to make sure your lights are correctly secured.
One of the most popular mountings is a transparent double-sided adhesive tape, which is sufficient for most smooth surfaces. For rough surfaces, we recommend individual dowels along which the light chain is then draped.
Other options include staples or nail clamps while some fairy lights will attach to windows, glass and plastic with suction cups.
Fairy lights can also be placed around any fixed frame without additional brackets, e.g. bedposts, shelves, canvas picture frames or fences.
And speaking of fences, if you wish to hang fairy lights outdoors, we recommend using gutter hooks to achieve the look you’re hoping for.
But if none of the above is what you’re looking for, and you just want to update your Christmas tree - why not try our cordless Christmas tree candle lights?
These energy-saving LED lights are powered by standard AA or AAA batteries and can be placed anywhere on the tree's branches.
Light chains can be mounted anywhere or draped around fixed frames.
Wireless candle lights are recommended for your Christmas tree.
Light chains for indoor use must not be used in a garden, on a terrace or a balcony. Outdoor fairy lights must have an ingress protection rating of IP44 or above, which protects them against splash water and solid foreign bodies greater than 1mm.
Replacing bulbs on modern LED string lights is no longer possible.
But don’t worry, because LEDs have a long service life you can enjoy your fairy lights for years without having to search for replacement bulbs.
