Shop lighting is made up of different types of lighting. Firstly, there is the general lighting. It is the part of the shop lighting that is responsible for the basic brightness of a shop.
This general shop lighting can be realised using downlights, recessed luminaires or pendant luminaires, among other things. Pleasant shop lighting, especially at the entrance, ensures that shoppers get a positive first impression. If the shop lighting appears too cold and sterile, this can have a negative impact on customer buying behaviour. Targeted shop lighting, on the other hand, can have a positive influence on customer buying behaviour.
Another area where shop lighting is of great importance is the checkout area, where customers are often looking for the right change. In order to avoid errors at the checkout and to ensure the best possible visibility for both customers and employees, sufficient shop lighting should also be available here.
