Shop lighting for more sales success

In order to present the goods in a salesroom as attractively as possible, you literally have to put them in the right light. This is achieved with the corresponding shop lighting. Shop lighting is made up of different types of lighting. Firstly, there is the general lighting. It is the part of the shop lighting that is responsible for the basic brightness of a shop.

Types of luminaires for shop lighting

This general shop lighting can be realised using downlights, recessed luminaires or pendant luminaires, among other things. Downlights can also be used as part of shop lighting for spotlighting merchandise - for example, to draw attention to special offers. Surface-mounted luminaires, pendant luminaires or so-called display luminaires can also be used for shop lighting. In any case, the shop lighting should provide good lighting conditions and create a pleasant atmosphere. After all, potential customers should at best become regular customers.

Shop window, entrance, checkout: the diversity of shop lighting

Shop lighting also often includes shop window lighting and suitable lighting for the entrance area. Pleasant shop lighting, especially at the entrance, ensures that shoppers get a positive first impression. If the shop lighting appears too cold and sterile, this can have a negative impact on customer buying behaviour. Targeted shop lighting, on the other hand, can have a positive influence on customer buying behaviour.
