The central component of the system is the SMART+ Gateway, which communicates via your WLAN. The gateway is the interface where all the lamps and luminaires in the lighting system come together and are made available for operation via app.
Is LEDVANCE SMART+ compatible with other smart home systems?
By PHILIPS Hue, for example, do you mean? Or with smart lamps and lights from other manufacturers? Yes, LEDVANCE SMART+ can be easily combined with other products - as long as they communicate with ZigBee. The Switch or Switch Mini functions as a "smartphone replacement". Once configured (in the network), the Switch or Switch Mini works like a normal remote control and enables delay-free switching of the lights.
But one thing is clear: pioneering functions such as presence simulation make WLAN, smartphones and apps indispensable.
