Modern Smart Home light sources work without external dimmers because the complete dimming technology is in the light. Also, using a smartphone app, you can control your lighting via wireless smart switches - similar to regular wall switches (just a whole lot better).

Many well-known smart home systems have compatible smart home switches, like Philips Hue, tint and Eve.
The wall switches used for lighting control are paired with the smart lamps and other Smart Home system devices via an app called "the learning switch".
The configuration can be changed at any time and will function entirely independently without a smartphone.
Smart switches can be used anywhere, even outdoors, as long as it is protected with the appropriate IP protection class.
Smart light switches are mounted or attached with adhesive tape and are mobile, just like your TV remote control or smartphone.
