What are the advantages of a twilight switch?
Under no circumstances does your light have to compete with the sun. The twilight sensor is there to ensure that the motion detector only illuminates the light when there is not enough daylight. It registers how dark it is and only releases the light when it is needed. **Only when someone walks past in the dark does the light switch on. When the sun is shining, nothing happens. But be careful: if there is a street lamp nearby, for example, the twilight sensor may be fooled.

Can continuous light also be set?
Of course, there are also situations where you need or want longer light around the house. Then it can be annoying when the light keeps switching off by itself. It is therefore practical if your outdoor wall light can switch between motion detector mode and continuous light. When buying, simply check whether this is possible. Does a camera make sense as an additional option?

What is the optimum angle of coverage?
