In addition to the right outdoor lamp, the right accessories are also crucial for trouble-free installation of the right garden lighting. Depending on the type of luminaire, additional ground spikes may be useful for installation, for example. If completely new garden lighting is installed and new outdoor lamps are integrated, it is advisable to plan suitable places for outdoor sockets at the same time. Garden tools often need electricity and additional outdoor sockets can avoid metres of cable and extensions across the garden.
Those who like to adapt their lighting to the season can use the additional outdoor sockets to add further decorative lights or fairy lights to their fixed outdoor lamp. Different placements of mobile lighting elements are also made easier and the garden shines in new splendour.
Extreme caution is required when installing electrical systems outdoors or in areas where contact with moisture and water is to be expected. For safety reasons, outdoor lamps should therefore only be installed by an electrician or trained and authorised specialist personnel.
Correct installation of lights in the garden, on the house wall or in the entrance area also requires the right accessories. For example, there are special brackets for wall lights that also allow corner mounting, so-called corner bases or corner wall brackets. If you want to decorate your garden with festive lights at Christmas, they need to be connected to the power supply using a connection cable. A certain number of external sockets is therefore required. These multiple sockets for outdoor lights sometimes also include a timer that ensures the lighting is switched on and off precisely. Some models are also good for surprises in terms of their shape: they "lurk" perfectly camouflaged as tree stumps or stones in the bushes and hide several power connections inside for all the outdoor lamps that illuminate and decorate the garden.
