The fluorescent lamp - the classic for technical rooms
When everyone thinks of fluorescent lamps, the first things that come to mind are gyms, offices and garages. No wonder, since for decades the fluorescent lamp was not very suitable for living spaces due to its unwieldy shape. It was only the compact fluorescent lamp that found its way into living spaces under the name "energy-saving lamp". The fluorescent lamp has numerous advantages. It has four to six times the luminous efficacy of a conventional light bulb and thus saves up to 80% energy. A modern fluorescent lamp lasts up to 18,000 hours (compared to just 1000 hours for an incandescent bulb). The fluorescent lamp is also available in a wide range of colours, including numerous shades of white, but also really colourful ones for decorative purposes.
