Plaster wall light

A building material presented in a modern way

What is so special about plaster wall lights?

Simply chic everywhere: plaster wall lights have an elegant, white surface and a striking feel. This makes them suitable for the entire living area, whether hallway, living room, dining room or kitchen.

Individualisation tip: If you want to give your plaster wall lamp a personal touch or match it better to your wall colour, reach for a paintbrush - and get creative with your luminaire.

How high should you hang plaster wall lights?

If the plaster wall light is dazzling, it means: Goodbye living comfort. You should therefore avoid looking directly into the light source. Luminaires with upward and downward light distribution are positioned around 5 cm above eye level, i.e. often between 1.70 m and 1.80 m.

At the same time, this ensures that the luminaire is perceived optimally in the room - and this benefits the room atmosphere, especially with the elegant plaster wall luminaires!

Are there also dimmable plaster wall lights?

We are used to incandescent lamps and halogen lamps always being dimmable. Unfortunately, this is not always the case with LED lighting technology - look out for specially labelled, dimmable LED light sources.

Another simple option is to choose luminaires or light sources with built-in dimming technology, such as EasyDim products. No external dimmers are required to start the dimming process.

For further details, please refer to the respective products.

Why is LED the best choice for plaster wall lights?

Cosy light, long service life, lower electricity costs - LEDs have become established in our homes, even in plaster wall lights.

The fact that modelled light, e.g. points of light or cones of light, is even more effective with LEDs is due to the fact that LEDs, like halogen lamps, are point light sources. This separates the light from the shadow with clearer contours.
