URail is a popular 230-volt track system that has been honoured with the Red Dot Design Award, among others, and is connected directly to the mains without an intermediate transformer.
URail offers maximum flexibility and has a maximum utilisation of 1,000 watts for perfect illumination of even complex U-, L- or T-shaped rooms. With extensive components, changes of direction and even roof pitches of up to 45° are no problem.
Planning the URail tracks is simple and depends primarily on the shape of the room.
The first step is to select the power connection in the room and the appropriate feed. This depends on whether the power outlet is also the starting point of the rail system or not. The so-called "monkey swing", for example, allows a distance of up to 50 cm, whereby the power supply and the start of the rail system are connected to each other by cable.
The length of the individual rail elements is calculated from the selected feed. The URail tracks are available in lengths of 10 cm, 50 cm, 1 m and 2 m. Longer elements are realised by connecting two rails with line connectors.
Depending on the required branches and changes of direction, other connectors are added in addition to the rails: L connectors for 90° angles, Flex connectors for variable angles and T and X connectors for branching or intersecting rails.
Then accessories such as the switch, which enables remote control, are selected and, of course, the appropriate lights are put together. The URail range includes high-quality spotlights and pendant luminaires as well as LED panels and decorative light sources.

Firstly, the feed is installed at the power outlet. Ideally, the track layout should then be marked out on the ceiling before the tracks are attached using the screws and plugs supplied. If the track is not to be attached directly to the ceiling, spacers can be used. Then only the lights need to be attached to the rails.
We strongly recommend professional installation by an electrician in order to comply with all safety regulations for electrical installations!
