They look chic - regardless of the style and design. They really can be put into operation without any prior technical knowledge - thanks to the socket. Are there wooden floor lamps with LED?

Of course! Because LED is the present of lighting technology. And the future. Incandescent lamps and halogen lamps are still around - but not for much longer. And they are no longer good for the environment or your wallet. The situation is quite different with LED lamps. This...

  • have a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours - without you having to look after the light sources in between
  • save 90 % electricity compared to incandescent lamps and 60 % compared to halogen lamps
  • unlike energy-saving lamps, do not contain any toxic substances such as mercury

And the best thing is: you have the choice! You can choose between wooden floor lamps with fixed LED lighting technology. And the one with replaceable light sources, in which you can easily install modern LED lamps, known as "LED lamps". Retrofits, can be screwed in. Which model you ultimately choose is, of course, entirely up to you.

Can wooden floor lamps also be dimmed?

Some do. Others do not. Because whether a wooden floor lamp is dimmable or not varies from product to product. That depends entirely on which of the lights you have shortlisted during your shopping trip with us.

If you are looking for a dimmable floor lamp, simply check the product details to make sure that it says "Dimmer - included " or "Dimmer - with touch dimmer ". If the luminaire is then fitted with fixed LED lamps, you can start dimming immediately. However, if the light sources in the wooden floor lamp can be replaced, you only need to screw in a dimmable LED lamp. And then you can start dimming here too.

Are wooden floor lamps also available in a trendy tripod design?

Of course. And how they exist. After all, what do you get when you combine one of the hottest design trends such as the tripod look with a timelessly beautiful, homey and atmospheric material such as wood? Correct. A super cool, modern and yet absolutely atmospheric and cosy way to illuminate your four walls. With a cool tripod wooden floor lamp. Of course, there are no limits to the designs and styles. Are there wooden floor lamps with a shade?
