A wide variety of lighting ideas can be realised with light tubes. Thanks to the different colour variants, they can transform your home garden into a nocturnal world of adventure. The rope light is now also available as an LED version, providing atmospheric lighting in an economical way. The tube is the modern alternative to the traditional fairy lights, which are a popular design element not only during the Christmas season. A rope light is also often used as party lighting or to decorate the garden shed. If you like it particularly colourful, illuminate your outdoor area with a multicolour rope light, which uses a control unit to create different lighting effects.
In addition to the highly individualised decoration options offered by a rope light with light bulbs or an LED rope light, the flexible tubes are also used to form silhouettes of figures. These figures are available to buy ready-made, with tubes of light wrapped around the wire frame in the shape of a reindeer, Father Christmas or sleigh. This results in a glowing silhouette when switched on, which creates a Christmassy atmosphere in the garden and in front of the house during the dark season. If you don't want to go to the trouble of decorating the small fir tree or bush in front of the house yourself with fairy lights or a rope light, the 3-D Christmas tree is a practical alternative. For some years now, LED technology has also been used for Christmas lighting. The small light-emitting diodes can really come into their own with delicate lighting and decorations that are connected to the mains for many hours at a time. They consume up to 90 per cent less electricity than light bulbs, have a service life of 20,000 to 50,000 hours, are very small and generate much less heat than other light sources - all of which are very useful properties for a rope light and its intended use.
