LED candles - simply safe, simply beautiful

Oh, a relaxed evening with the most beautiful candlelight. Nice, isn't it? Yes, if it weren't for the unsightly wax stains on the new wooden table or the soot stains on the curtains. The candle stubs burnt on one side, which are really no longer nice to look at. The concerns that Bello might accidentally knock over the candles. And anyway, the fact that you're actually far too afraid that something will start to burn somewhere. But do you want to do without candlelight? Out of the question. But there are LED candles! The most beautiful candlelight - and completely safe. With numerous extra features and a look that makes you have to look twice to tell them apart from real candles.

What advantages do LED candles offer me?

  • the look: Real candle or LED candle? Not so easy to say. The difference usually only becomes apparent on closer inspection. No wonder! LED candles do everything they can to emulate their great role models down to the smallest detail. And it works!
  • the atmosphere: Why do we love candles so much? Correct. Because of the unique atmosphere. And you know what? It's not just real candles that give you this chilled atmosphere, but also LED candles. And without having to worry about the curtain catching fire or Bello being a little too curious again.
  • the new glamour: Who doesn't know them: crooked, half-burnt or one-sided candle stubs that you can't do much with after all. But: not with LED candles. Even after years, they still look as beautiful as on the first day.
  • the LED technology: The centrepiece of modern LED candles. As a substitute for an open fire, of course. And LED technology poses absolutely no fire hazard. Heat up? Not an issue. Smoke, soot or drops of wax on the beautiful new coffee table? Not with LED candles.
  • totally dangerous: A lively household? Candles with an open fire are out of the question. This is not a problem for LED candles. After all, LED candles are absolutely harmless, even for the little ones, as well as for Bello & Co. You can also use the modern candles in places (e.g. in the guest room) or in situations (e.g. if you do doze off) when you can't keep an eye on them all the time.
  • the decorating all-rounders: Paper and various decorative items - especially in autumn and winter. Curtains, tablecloths and all the other easily flammable but really beautiful furnishings in your home. You don't dare to put real candles there. Why not try LED candles? They go along with everything - without you having to worry about any of it.

In addition ....

  • LED candles are of course wireless. After all, they want to resemble their real burning originals (as much as possible). Or have you ever seen real candles with wires? LED candles usually get their energy from commercially available batteries.
  • you can also choose models with a super practical timer. Or with remote control. Not only can you switch the candles on and off, set the light duration or flickering light from the sofa. No, you can also use it to dim the candlelight, for example. Yes, really. However, this varies from model to model. Therefore: read the product details again carefully.
  • LED candles can also light up in colour. Green, blue, red or even purple - no problem for LED candles with a colour change function. For all those who find normal candlelight too dull.

In which versions are LED candles available?

You have a free choice - even with LED candles. Because LED candles are in no way inferior to real candles in terms of design. Therefore: Whether red, white, blue, black, cream or even in trendy mint green, rosé or raspberry colours. With texture, glitter effect - and of course also with real wax coating including typical wax odour and apparently run-off wax on the edge. As a stick candle, tea light or with a small or large diameter. Which version should it be? What? Of course, you also want to be able to blow out the candle. Yes, even that is possible with LED candles. So you don't have to do without anything. Except for the fear of fire hazard.

Which batteries are needed for LED candles?

We would like to give you a general answer to this question. Unfortunately, there is no such thing - sorry. Even though LED candles are usually operated with batteries, they usually require different sizes. And the number of batteries is also very different. You can easily find out which and how many batteries you need for your new candles in the product details. As a rule, these are standard AA, AAA or even C batteries. So it's all very easy.

Our tip: Simply order the appropriate batteries for the new LED candles from our shop at the same time. How does that work, you ask? Simply look directly under your favourite LED candle under " Accessories ". You'll find exactly the batteries you need

How long do LED candles burn?

How long do you want them to burn? 5 minutes, half an hour, 4 or even 12 hours? Or would you prefer the whole day? Basically, the answer depends on how long you want the candles to burn. In principle, you can of course set your LED candles to "On" and leave them lit until the batteries give up the ghost. Of course, this takes quite a while - but you can do it.

Otherwise, many LED candles nowadays have an integrated timer. What does that mean, you ask? Quite simply. Not only can you switch the candles on and off, you can also set them to only light up for a specific time. Very popular: the choice between 4 and 8 hours. This means that the candle is lit for 8 hours, for example. Then switches off automatically and only switches on again automatically after 16 hours. Absolutely practical, isn't it? Real candles can hardly keep up!

Already have a specific LED candle in mind? And now you want to know whether it also has such a practical timer? Very easy. Simply read the product details. There you can also see which light duration you can choose from._

Why do LED candles flicker?

What are the great predecessors of LED candles? Of course the real candles - made of wax. And what do they do when they burn? Of course, flicker. It's not just like that, it also contributes to the relaxed atmosphere. Therefore: LED candles also flicker. Just like their great role models! But: not all of them. Simply look for the "flickering light" feature in the product details and you're ready to go.
