Design for the people

Design For The People, a brand created by Nordlux in 2015, impressively demonstrates the extent to which Danish designers have mastered their craft. The award-winning designs skilfully combine minimalist aesthetics, functionality, high-quality light and hand-picked materials. The lights from Design For The People are both contemporary and deeply rooted in the Danish design tradition.

Popular luminaire series from Nordlux

Ellen

The Ellen light series embodies the essence of Danish design. The hand-blown opal glass shade ensures wide, glare-free light distribution and harmonises perfectly with the lightweight lamp stand.

Clyde

The simplicity of the Clyde luminaire series is in keeping with the Scandinavian design tradition. The Moodmaker™ technology, which enables 3-step dimming via the normal wall switch, is very modern.

Milford

The Milford luminaire series is entirely focussed on soft, diffuse light that shapes the room. The hand-blown opal glass shade has a very modern, grooved surface, which has an organic and lively effect.

Strap

The Strap luminaire series is synonymous with tasteful Nordlux design, which never ceases to surprise in the details. Here it is the leather strap that combines with the metal shade to create a stylish mix of materials.

Sponge

The Sponge luminaire series offers a simple design language and numerous application options. With a battery runtime of up to 5 hours, 3-step dimming and IP65 protection, it is a wonderful companion for indoors and outdoors.

**Kettle

The Kettle luminaire series is both a decorative and practical lighting accessory. It is battery-operated, can be dimmed in 3 stages, illuminates for up to 5 hours at 100 % brightness and can be used both indoors and outdoors thanks to IP65.
