"We may not be able to change the world. But we can put a smile on your face!" This is how the young company Fatboy presents itself. In 1998, it achieved world fame with a beanbag. Today, Fatboy is known above all for its creative lighting designs, which never take themselves too seriously.
In 1998, Finnish designer Jukka Setälä designed a comfortable beanbag made of strong nylon and founded the Fatboy brand. It owes its name to a well-known musician of the late 90s.
The beanbag was so successful that a range full of iconic products was developed on the basis of this one product. These are now available in over 60 countries. In addition to the beanbag in all its variations as well as rugs, side tables and hammocks, the Fatboy range also includes iconic lamps.
The design of these lights always includes a wink. It never takes itself too seriously, but is designed to put a smile on the user's face. It is characterised above all by its young appearance with its soft, rounded shapes.
