Designer by Prandina
After studying industrial design, Christian Ploderer began designing products himself. Gradually, the native Viennese specialised in lighting - this included not only creating designs but also lighting consulting and planning. Since 2006, he has been involved in lighting design for architectural projects in his own design office.
Christian Ploderer has designed the CLP luminaire family for Prandina, which includes table lamps as well as floor and pendant luminaires. The centrepiece of the designer lamp is its cylindrically shaped, hand-blown glass shade, which impresses with its simplicity and timelessness.

During his studies in Italy and Norway, Filippo Protasoni focussed on product and interior design. After working for various international design studios, he opened his own office in Milan in 2009 and also teaches at the IED Milan.
With the La Belle S5 pendant light, Filippo Protasoni has created a fascinating lighting object for Prandina. Its double shade consists of transparent, thermoformed methacrylate with a coloured tint and a shade made of opal white, rotationally moulded polyethylene that is closed at the bottom. The result: an extraordinarily fascinating lighting effect. Filippo Protasoni also designed the Bima T1 LED desk lamp with USB connection for charging mobile phones for Prandina.

The Diver luminaire series is the creative brainchild of Serge and Robert Cornelissen. Her own design office, Serge Cornelissen BV in Belgium, specialises in the design and development of luminaires and lighting concepts. Her designs are characterised by a balanced combination of artistic and technical creativity.
The double-layered shade of the Diver design lamp is made of mouth-blown glass, which is attached to a suspension with lacquered metal elements. While the outer shade is made of transparent glass, there is a hemispherical, opal white diffuser inside, which is also mouth-blown.

A harmonious combination of two materials - this is the core element of the Fez luminaire series by designer Marco Alessi. His endeavour: the harmony of architecture and product design. In all models in the Fez series, a transparent crystal glass protrudes from an opaque, biconcave-shaped metal cylinder, creating a breathtaking uplight and downlight.

Pendant light Tulpia from the Spanish studio Khamai is an extremely timeless and purist creation. The designers' inspiration: tulip fields in Holland. As with many Prandina designs, a double shade characterises the look and lighting effect: the light first hits the inner, narrow metal shade with six openings, illuminating the outer shade with its matt surface. The design is available in seven different colour schemes from black-chrome to white-copper.

Sino luminaire series - a flowering of modern LED technology
The Sino luminaire series by Italian designer Filippo Mambretti, who has already received several design awards for his work, has an outstanding recognition value. Its transparent, hand-blown glass shade lends it a decidedly purist elegance. A special eye-catcher: the curved metal frame, which protrudes into the clear shade at the top and is only brightly illuminated in this special section by a frosted glass diffuser.
